Standing at 5'10" with a lean body and bleached hair, Nate strikes an imposing image off the bat with his typical scowl and piercing green eyes. He's quick to anger and easily falls to obsession, not afraid to do morally questionable things to get his way. He hates being called "Nathan" or "Nathaniel".

As a late teen/early adult, Nate lives in an apartment with his single mother, Deirdre, who has raised him on her own since the day his father walked out and never came back. To say he has daddy issues might be simplifying it a bit; Nate is aggressively aware of the fact that he was abandoned by his father and has developed a complex about not being good enough. Unfortunately, he takes it out on everyone around him that he deems "too perfect".

When he's older, Nate lives in his own apartment, decorated entirely with plants. Nate loves plants, especially flowers. He usually hides this from people lest he be made fun of or assumed to be "girly". (Toxic masculinity runs deep in him.)

A sexual sadist, hardcore dominant, and possessive lover, Nate is a nightmare to anyone he sets his sights on. He has no qualms with forcing someone into a situation they might not want, and will do anything to stay in control. Being the one on top is everything to him--physically and metaphorically.

Intelligent but lacking focus, Nate gets middling grades through school, eventually dropping out of college to pursue a career in music that ultimately lands him a job at the local record store. His favorite band is blink-182, but he'll listen to any combination of punk, rock, and/or alternative music. He fancies himself a punk at heart and eventually comes to appreciate being stuck playing guitar out of a garage, forming a 3-man band with his two best friends called "Wolf's Bane".

He's capable of love--whether it be familial or romantic--but displays it very rarely, preferring to keep his heart guarded lest he be left behind once again. Can he overcome his violent urges to be a good partner? (Yes, I'm going to make him.)
